On top of that, I was learning how to study the Bible on my own and didn’t really know where to start! I was worried that I might be doing it all wrong and wanted to make sure I was rightly handling the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15).

So there I was, struggling to go deeper in my relationship with Jesus, overwhelmed by all that the Bible had to say and without the kind of friendships I needed to encourage and challenge me to keep going.

It wasn’t long before I started to feel my faith become stagnant. I was stuck. And I had no one to help me get un-stuck!

I needed godly friends to do life with. I needed older women to pour into my life and help me learn how to study the Bible. I needed sisters in Christ to hold me accountable when I was struggling.

It wasn’t until college that I got a sweet taste of what those kinds of friendships could be like and started learning how to confidently study the Bible.

I finally started to see what I had been missing. I was thriving in my faith AND my friendships were deeper than I had ever experienced before.
